Text Box: Economic Empowerment: Poverty is sustained by economic challenges and barriers. We at HSA are devising economic initiatives through education, training, and awareness to create economic empowerment for those in need. With the support of our affiliate agencies we intend to provide the economic tools needed to overcome financial challenges.  
Text Box: Diversity: In today’s society racism and prejudice are often used in an undertone manner, if not openly. The workplace reinforces many stereotypes to exist through humor, groupings and organizational culture/ behavior. With the help of our affiliate agencies HSA is in the process of developing a diversity training designed for the human service environment. 
Text Box: Youth/ Child Welfare: According to statistics this generation of youth are experiencing and participating in more violent behaviors then previous.  With the help of our affiliate agencies and our youths  HSA is developing mediation and behavior control trainings that utilize methodologies from leading professionals and the opinion of our youths Through our trainings we hope to improve youth services.
